JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
A postdoctoral fellow is sought to conduct applied research on printed electronics, specifically flexible and stretchable hybrid electronics, with Prof. Pratap Rao in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). The position will be for 18 months. Applicants must commit to the project for the entire 18 month period of performance. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents, or must currently be present in the US on a visa that can be quickly transferred to WPI. Applications will be considered until the position is filled.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidates should hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or closely related field, ideally with a background in one or more of the following areas: screen printing and/or inkjet printing of electronics; surface mount component attach; stretchable and/or wearable electronics and sensors; and textiles.
