The Position

Reporting to the Business Unit Director for the HIV franchise, the (Senior) Product Manager Virology collaborates closely with the cross-functional team, co-ordinates and lead projects and supports marketing plans implementation across functions: collaboration with Medical, Sales, Commercial Operations, Legal and Finance departments to drive activities, supporting the team to achieve revenue and results objectives.

The minimum salary for this position is 80,000 - with a flexibility for higher salary based on qualification and experience.

Specific responsibilities

Directs and leads strategic- and tactical planning and respective implementation
Responsible for localization of global projects in alignment with strategic objectives
Liaises with Regional Brand team and colleagues from other European countries to identify, adapt and implement best practices
Develops and executes multichannel customer engagement projects and digital brand strategies
Engages with HCPs and related HCP associations in relevant projects
Leads promotion review process to ensure marketing materials and projects are cleared for promotional use and secures final production
Ensures that all marketing activities follow regulatory and legal requirements

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Experience in marketing in pharmaceutical or other health related industry
Educational background with degrees in marketing, project management or related fields
Therapeutic Area knowledge of virology or infectious diseases would be an asset
Proven track record of strong project management and organizational skills in a cross-functional work environment to be able to manage effectively multiple commercial projects from assignment to completion, with the ability to prioritize
Familiarity with strategy and marketing fundamentals, sales and commercial policies and practices
Strong analytical & strategic skills to analyze complex situations and provide logical recommendations for planning
Strong leadership and self-management skills: interpersonal and communication skills are needed to navigate in a complex and customer focused environment
Understands the pharmaceutical legal and regulatory requirements and its impact on marketing tactics and materials
Multichannel and digital marketing skills would be an asset

Strong organizational skills, including the ability to follow assignments through to completion (bias towards execution)
Experience in processing and presenting relevant marketing & sales market information to be discussed and aligned with senior management locally and above country level
Successful record of developing external relationships leading to brand advocacy
Languages: German fluent/mother language, English written and spoken fluent
