By joining Gilead, you will further our mission to address unmet medical needs and improve life by advancing the care of patients with life-threatening diseases.We are seeking an Investor Relations Specialist, ideally based at our Foster City campus, however we will consider remote candidates. This key role will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage an active marketing calendar that underpins a strategic and proactive investor relations program, including assessing incoming requests and preparing team for calls and conferences.
  • Manage IR inbox, responding to routine questions and escalating requests to other team members as appropriate.
  • Lead re-design of IR website, and then manage IR website.
  • Manage IR budget on behalf of team, including acting as primary relationship manager for external vendors.
  • Coordinate earnings calls, investor conferences, NDRs, investor calls and all other investor events.
  • Coordinate briefing materials to prepare Gilead participants for investor interactions.
  • Over time, contribute to internal reports.
  • Managing team contact database for IR team.
Specific Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of 4 years directly Investor Relations experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and creating Word and PowerPoint presentations required;
  • Previous experience in M&A or Treasury is strongly preferred;
  • Biotech, pharma, or life sciences strongly experience preferred
