JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Associate Director contributes to University Advancement's annual giving goal by managing fundraising and volunteer engagement for annual giving programs that raise funds from WPI alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends. This includes managing volunteer engagement, fundraising, and grant management for the WPI Women's Impact Network; Reunion volunteer fundraising and engagement; day-to-day operations for University Advancement's crowdfunding platform; and faculty and staff annual giving. The Associate Director also participates in and assists with other annual giving fundraising and engagement activities as assigned throughout the year.

The salary range for this position is $57,885 - $68,100, depending on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Manage fundraising and volunteer engagement for the Women's Impact Network (WIN) annual giving program.
- Liaison to Major Gift Officer responsible for leadership gift solicitations for WIN.
- Collaborate with University Advancement colleagues to develop and plan annual WIN events and solicitation and stewardship communications.
- Manage the WIN Impact Grant Program, working with the Impact Committee on promoting, soliciting, and reviewing applications, selecting
recipients, awarding the funds, and ongoing stewardship/reporting from recipients. - Manage WIN committees (Executive, Engagement, Impact, and Governance) and collaborate with volunteers on engagement activities.
- Manage Reunion volunteer fundraising and engagement activities.
- Identify classes that may need a reunion committee, coordinate management, and partner with a Major Gift Officer as needed on larger
solicitation opportunities. - Collaborate with the Director and team members as needed on reunion solicitations.
- Collaborate with Advancement team members to identify and recruit reunion ambassadors to promote Reunion Weekend to friends and
classmates. - Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies and tactics, such as digital toolkits, for reunion ambassadors promote Reunion
Weekend attendance and giving; schedule and coordinate outreach to ambassadors on a regular basis. - Manage the day-to-day operations of University Advancement's crowdfunding platform.
- Train students, student organizations, and other community members on effective use of the platform for effective fundraising and stewardship.
- Collaborate with Lifetime Engagement & Communications team members and campus partners to promote crowdfunding and its benefits to
students, student organizations, and other WPI departments and programs. - Collaborate with Director of Annual Giving to develop, implement, and update user guides, policies, and procedures.
- Manage annual giving from faculty and staff.
- Manage gift renewals from faculty and staff.
- Collaborate with team members on stewardship messages and touch points.
- Develop and execute cultivation to ensure a continuing and growing cycle of faculty and staff giving.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in fundraising or related field.
- Ability to work well with donors, alumni, university leaders, students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and to collaborate effectively with colleagues in other university departments.
- Excellent organizational skills with track record of setting priorities, managing multiple responsibilities, and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce or other constituent databases preferred.
- Homecoming and Alumni Weekend attendance required' some evening and weekend events, with advanced notice.
