JOB DESCRIPTION

The Computer Science Department anticipates hiring a tenure-track faculty member for the fall of 2021 whose expertise is in Digital Health, Natural Language Processing, Social Computing, Compilers/Programming Languages, or Inclusive Computing.

In addition to these specific areas, outstanding candidates in any area (and any rank) will receive full consideration. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field and the potential for excellence in research and teaching.

The Computer Science Department includes more than 30 full-time faculty. Construction is underway on a new academic building, which will be the home of many interdisciplinary programs involving Computer Science. Occupancy in the new building is expected in spring 2022.
